Dolen Tool Sales began as a manufacturer’s rep agency by Larry and Darlene Dolen out of their home in 1984. Larry had worked for other sales organizations and decided he wanted to use his efforts into selling for himself. Dolen Tool Sales then became a full line distributor of cutting tools. David Dolen joined his parents in 1985 and became an additional salesman for the Company. In 1991 the Company relocated into offices and began stocking a small quantity of inserts and end mills for select customers.

The Company continued to grow and moved into its current location with over 4000 square feet of office and warehouse space in 2001. With the passing of Larry in 2002 and Darlene in 2019, the Company has now moved onto its 2nd generation ownership with David Dolen, Tina Dolen and Lisa Kindley.
